Nancy Magee has been actively involved in EMS for 22 years.

As a self-employed business owner and consultant for over 30 years, volunteer EMT, career AEMT, EMS instructor, field supervisor and Director of Marketing and Client Relations for an EMS Management Service Organization, Nancy combines marketing savvy and management perspective with a volunteer’s heart. Her workshop series “Redesigning Volunteer EMS-A Volunteer Survival Guide,” has been presented nationwide and is aimed at helping volunteer EMS agencies over- come fiscal, leadership, and recruitment and retention challenges.

Nancy also provides continuing education at conferences across the country on clinical topics, ethics, leadership, and provider mental health focused on the needs of rural and volunteer BLS providers.

She is the author of "Redesigning Volunteer EMS" featured on EMS1.com and is host of the “Re- designing Volunteer EMS” podcast on SoundCloud. Her blogs on volunteerism, professionalism and ethics can be found on her website at MEDIC Training Solutions.org. She is a dynamic and passionate educator, subject matter expert and advocate for EMS volunteers.

A Connecticut native, Nancy has spent the past 8 years in rural Louisiana and teaches EMR, EMT and continuing education classes there for rural first responders and volunteers.
